Okay, my friends, here is the bottom line. We’re grownups now, even though some of us are obviously still in touch with our inner child (good news, Randy)! However, we have all had our learning, growing and discovering experiences. So we’re suggesting a few things to make this reunion, this page and our ongoing relationships more inviting, full of fun, and authentic.
As graduates from Box Elder, we are all aware that we once came from a very conservative culture. Some of us grew up LDS; some didn’t. Some of us have left the church, others of us have joined it, and others belong to totally different faiths or non at all. The point is, all of us have been on our own spiritual journeys. Let’s agree to enjoy each other!
In saying that, please note that some folks who used to drink, don’t anymore. Some are in AA, and we honor them for their months or years of sobriety. Some folks who never drank “back in the day” now choose to imbibe at celebrations and special occasions, and our reunion may be one of them. Let’s agree for this to be a comfortable place for everyone to feel completely at ease. As we have all grown to discover, each one of us is free to choose. What a wonderful world!
All are WELCOME!
